new song: toro y moi - still sound

Ever since Toro Y Moi dropped one of my favorite albums of the year, I've been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of his next release. Now that Underneath the Pine is just around the corner (2/22 on Carpark!), the waves of absurd anticipation break like a tropical storm over the rocks of the first promo .mp3. The rocks are smooth. If "Leave Everywhere" suggested a shift away from the soulful glitch-hop of his debut to a more organic pop sensibility, "Still Sound" bridges that gap and crafts its arrangements to work in service of da funk.
