Apparently Sleepy Doug Shaw from Gang Gang Dance is equally interested in the prettier, twinkly side of the Dark Continent, and his Afropop project Highlife has been on a lot of radars since "F Kenya Rip" first hit the interwaves around this time last year. Now it's back, surrounded by an all-new batch of tropical breeze in the form of their upcoming Best Bless EP, which drops September on The Social Registry. Ride that bassline for a while, see where it takes you.
