New Local Music: Stay Cool Forever Demos!!!

My humble suburb's been in somewhat of an upheaval lately. It's quite a feat to make that ever-so-hip middle-class blog-reader crowd sit up and take notice of the garage band down the street.

Enter Stay Cool Forever, a minor phenomenon of a synthpop band who have been blowing the roofs off gazeebo's, backyard awnings and coffee shops for the last several months.

The Pomona trio recently went into the--well, the garage--to record a suitably lo-fi demo tape, which they'll be handing out at shows for the foreseeable future, and in the interests of promoting for my friends, you can hear it here. I've decided I can't really be okay with myself if these songs don't get the recognition they deserve.
