Happy September.
Columbia, South Carolina's Ernest Greene a.k.a. Washed Out doesn't need any more blog exposure. The still-young lo-fi electro project is already one of the Summer of Glo-fi's most rewarding success-stories, and is quickly becoming one of its most prolific. The latest track to surface online, "Luck" is a woozy instrumental built on a loping hip-hop beat and fluttering, ephemeral synths out of Black Moth Super Rainbow's wilder dreams. The track appears on Greene's forthcoming Mirror Universe tape High Life, alongside the hazy nostalgia-trip of "Belong," which we recently featured as part of our summery Fuzzy Dreams mixtape.
