New Jay Reatard - It Ain't Gonna Save Me

Garage-dwelling rabble-rouser Jay Reatard will be making his Matador debut August 18, when he releases his new Watch Me Fall LP.



The Matablog has posted a track from the album, a bouncy, hook-filled powerpop sprint titled "It Ain't Gonna Save Me." The Casio strains and drumstick-tapping backing Reatard's refrain of "All is lost/there is no hope!" that end out the track are worth the price of admission (nothing) alone.
